well duh!, Are you being sarcastic or are you really so stupid as to compare a rocket engine to that of a car for efficiency

      Cool video.

I seriously thought it was only 2 feet high all the way up to the end. when those people ran out it changed my whole perspective.

      It’s quite …
It’s quite impressive, except the landing which is very rough, you’d break glasses and stuff stored inside, so it’s not practical. Back to the drawing boards boys.. oops, we’re in the modern era where people now use “she” instead of “he” to refer to “people” in general… so I meant to say, “back to the drwaing boards ma’ ladies”… oops, but that may sound too galant and I may be taken to court by the NAACP.. oh man, I just can’t win, can I? ..sigh..

Dude, don’t call people rendered… it’s not their fault if they’re born that way.. sheesh, have some sensitivity.

    12. ymi2b Says:

      Not really… It …
Not really… It looks to be about 22 gallons of fuel and it only traveled about 100 meters round-trip. With that much gas I can go about 720 miles in my car, thus the car is far more efficient. Granted, the car cannot fly, but my frien’s small prop plane still would get about 400 miles on that much fuel.

    13. ymi2b Says:

      Well, the …
Well, the government won’t fully disclose what that 2:15 object was, other than to say the typical explanation of a “weather balloon” which I and my UFOcon comittee know is total bull malarkey (or however you spell malarky). A local rastaurant waitress said she saw it out the window of the local Big Boys and saw “grey” beings inside with big black eyes.. I smell yet another gov’t coverup.

    14. ymi2b Says:

      Yeah, it may be …
Yeah, it may be bigger than a person, but you still cannot ride in it to Mars, so it’s a total waste of money. I know I’m not buying one. Besides, flipping’ government will probably require a pilot’s license anyways.

      Couple notes on my …
Couple notes on my 2nd viewing…in Hi-Def note the shockwave diamonds in the exhaust stream and it’s fun to watch John Carmac’s software wiggle the rocket nozzel back and forth stabalizing the landing. I believe that the duration is selected to simulate an actual lunar landing sequence. The rocket is almost all fuel and oxidizer tanks, enough propellant for the couple minutes’ flight.

Great! You only really get a sense of scale at the end of the video and was quite surprised at the size of it.. Out of curiosity was that a UAV launched at 2:15 off to the right?
